I was recently interviewed by Scott Pape (The Barefoot Investor) for a story he did in the Hearld Sun (and other news.com papers around Australia) on Women with children can make fortunes from home. I have had a lot of questions about this story from people so I though I would put up a Q&A post where you can ask me questions about the story.

While the concept for Price USA came from my personal experiences with trying to order from the USA, I did put a lot off effort into the planning of the business before starting. I think this has been the key to the success that I have had – that and all the hours I have put into providing the best customer service I can.

While I think people can make a success out of online businesses here in Australia, I don’t think that they are an easy way to get rich quickly. Like any business, an online business require dedication and hard work to succeed, the big advantage of an online business for me is I am able to structure my work around my family needs rather than the other way around.

Another small milestone as I received my 15,000th order this week and I have had over 8000 customers. With the dollar up at 99c it has been a busy week so I don’t know if I will have the time to celebrate!
