Adobe software?

Adobe software?

There are currently massive sales going on in the Adobe US store: [www.adobe.com]

I really would like to purchase the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium (currently US $899.50 vs AUD $2,616), just wondering if this is possible.

I did see in your last 100 list 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 • $59.99' and 'Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection' in the quick quotes side box, but wanted to confirm as this will need to be purchased from the Adobe website itself.

If you guys can do the above, just wondering if you get many orders of this nature?

Please let me know - thanks!

Yes you can order this. You just need to fill in the price usa order page with the details and carolina will send you a quote.

I also just wanted to ask if you guys have ever done orders like this before, and if there's been any client feedback of activating problems, in terms of US software being activated in Australia. It would suck to buy such expensive software and then they don't work, hmm.

Thanks.

I am one of the US agents and have ordered this software several times for customers and never had it returned, so I would assume that the customers have not had any trouble. Thanks.

Thanks Lindsay, that's fairly consistent with what I've read on the internet - that activating US Software in Australia/another country is fine, however Adobe seems to say that you can't despite people's testimony. Which leaves me a little confused.

Not sure if you could return the software anyways after opening it, seeing the key and attempting to activate it.

Although I would like to think that if people had a problem they might have at least reported it back so other people don't have the same problems.

I know from other customers that they have had no trouble activating Adobe software here. Unless Adobe has changed in the last couple month there should not be a problem.

Ok thanks Carolina. I think I'm going to hold my breath and take the plunge, fingers cross that Adobe hasn't changed their activation in the last 2 months.

I just have to ask though, do you know if it becomes illegal by law or something like Adobe's term of use, to use their software bought from the US in another country?

Sorry for all the questions, better be safe than sorry I think, and many people later will probably benefit from our discussion here.

Thanks.

Who knows what Adobe's EULA says, but it is certainly not illegal to use software here that you have bought from the USA.

That makes sense, my research seems to say the same thing, apart from 1 or 2 people making claims that it is. Thanks for that.

For anyone who has been reading this thread, or will read it. Just wanted to let you guys know that I did purchase Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium through priceUSA, and it was a VERY good experience! I received my order yesterday in perfect condition!

The staff at priceUSA were very patient & helpful at every stage, I highly recommend their services!

Actually I've already told 2 of my keen friends about your services, they will most likely be using your services either now or soon.

All the best with business.

I'll also report back on how activating Adobe US software in Australia goes. Thanks again.
