After a big US company refused to sell me the latest eReader I found PriceUSA on a Google search.
Other customers were happy with them and after getting a firm quote from PriceUSA, I accepted one of their many payment options that would provide the quickest delivery as we were going to be going away again. So I started the ball rolling while travelling in Asia.
At first I was kept well aware of what was happening through, many emails from both sides of the Pacific. I always knew what was happening. The Company’s ability to source stock early was also a surprise – I queried this as I felt they may have been sending the wrong units.
I was quickly assured that the correct eReaders were on their way.
I placed my order from Malaysia on the 4th June 12 – lets say two days for the money to appear in their account using my payment method and the stock was not expected until the 12th June but despite this advice the units were on their way early. They arrived in Australia on the 15th June 12.
The inability to track the order with Australia Post was acknowledged in the original correspondence but with the weekend in the way I expected the delivery on the Tuesday the 19th June and that’s exactly what happened.
I want to thank the team at PriceUSA in Australia and the USA as they made a concerted effort to make this happen quickly - reassuring us when we needed to be updated or have a query answered.
I was happy with the price – the exchange rate and the delivery process. I would definitely use them again should some company be difficult in the USA.
