My service fee is 5% of the order price. All other charges are at cost.
My service fee is calculated by adding the Purchase Price + Shipping Insurance + USA shipping + Shipping to Australia + Return Insurance. The US$ total is converted to A$ at the current spot exchange rate - 2.5 cents. For direct debit payments you are charged 5% of this value. My minimum order fee is A$20.
For credit card or paypal payments (only available for orders under $4000) my service fee is 10% with a minimum fee of A$25. This higher fee is due to the extra charges and risks we face with these payment methods.
My service fee for all other countries is 8%. You are quoted in US$. You may pay either by credit card or paypal. If you wish to pay by wire transfer or you have an Australian bank account please contact me. The minimum order fee for non-Australian orders is US$25.
0%. My USA agent charges the United States Postal Service (USPS) at the standard cost rate. This is the cheapest way to ship goods from the USA and is normally cheaper than using courier companies like FedEx. For oversized items or expensive (ie items to large to ship via USPS) my agent ships using FedEx at ~60% off the standard rates. The cost of FedEx shipping is normally the same or less than USPS express mail shipping and slightly faster.
There are three rate: 0.75% of the item price for Express Mail and FedEx shipping, 1.25% for Priority Mail shipping, and 2.5% for First Class Mail shipping. The shipping insurance covers replacement of an order if it is lost during shipping to Australia and reflects the relative risk of parcels being lost with each method.
20% of the total shipping charges. An optional insurance that covers the shipping costs involved in returning an item for a warranty replacement or repair. It covers the shipping charges from Australia (or your country) to the USA, any shipping charge within the USA, and return shipping to Australia (or your country). This optional insurance also covers the cost of returning an item to the USA if the item was damaged during shipping, or if the store shipped the wrong item. Return insurance must be purchased at time of item purchase and can not be purchased after shipment.
2.5 cents less than the current spot rate. This is the same (or less) than what your bank or Paypal will charge you on foreign credit card purchases. The reason our rate is not the same as the spot rate as I don't receive the spot rate when I forward your payment to my agent in the USA and I also have to pay wire transfer fees. The exchange rate is fixed for 24 hours. Since it can take your payment 3 to 4 days to clear, this fixed rate exposes me to the very volatile A$ exchange rate. The rate is updated every four hours and is shown within the Price Estimator on my order page.
I refund 100% of the rebate amount plus my service fee on the rebate amount minus $10 for processing the rebate. Rebate payments typically take 8 to 10 weeks to process, although they can take longer.
If you cancel your order and ask for a refund you will be charged a $5 processing fee, plus any costs either my agent or I may have incurred. This fee will be waved if you apply your credit to a new order within one week.
