Payment Questions

How do I pay for my order?

By direct bank deposit. After you submit the order form I check that it is complete and send you a final quote. In this quote you are sent the bank account details for paying the Price USA Trust. Once your payment has cleared the Price USA Trust will forward your payment to my USA partners who will then acquire the items and ship them directly to you.

You may also pay via paypal or credit card (Visa & MasterCard only). Because of the very high fees charged for these payment types there an additional handling fee of 5% of the order total when paying by paypal or credit card.

If you are ordering from outside Australia you can also pay by either Credit Card (Mastercard or Visa) or Paypal.

Do I get a tax invoice?

Yes. You will receive two tax invoice when your order is shipped from the USA. These invoices are from my USA partners and are for the goods, shipping, warranties (delivery and return protection) and handling. Price USA does not sell or ship any goods or provide any service. All items are supplied and purchased from my US partners. Price USA only provides a service for my US partners who pay me to provide customer service to their customers (i.e. you).

If you wish to obtain a single Australian tax invoice for the items this can be done subject to regulatory issues. In these cases Price USA will purchase the item from the USA and then sell it to you. The cost of ordering this way will be more expensive since Price USA must charge GST on all items and services sold and pay GST and duty on all items imported. If you wish to access this extra service please contact me before placing an order.

Do you accept credits cards?

Yes. You may pay by credit card (Visa & MasterCard only). Instructions on how to pay by credit card are included in your quote.

Can I use Paypal to pay for my order?

Yes. You may pay by PayPal. Instructions on how to pay by PayPal are included in your quote.

Will I be charged GST?

The goods arriving from the USA will be declared accurately so you may also be charged GST on the order item as well, however, Australian customs do not charge GST on personal goods valued under $1000. My experience is that items just over $1000 are often not charged GST. I advise that you not rely on this and factor in paying GST and duty on items valued over A$1000.

The GST limit applies only to the cost of item. For example, if an item cost US$950 with US$200 shipping then it would still be under the A$1000 limit even if the shipping made the total cost more than A$1000 at the current exchange rate.

I have one day special that I want to order. How can I pay quickly?

If you have transferred the payment from a Commonwealth Bank or NAB account the transfer will come through instantly. Cash deposits also come through instantly now. If you have a Westpac account account the transfer should come through the next business day if you pay before the cutoff time (6 pm). All other banks will take 1 to 2 business days for your payment to clear. You can also pay by credit card or paypal, but these options are more expensive.

If you in a great hurry please as the trustee normally only checks for new payments once each morning and late at night.
